Sports section

The Sports Section is intended for young people who wish to combine success in their secondary education with regular and sustained participation in outdoor sports activities. It is open to students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 at Mansle.

The group consists of 16 students. Training is provided by Alexis Pernelle and coordinated by a teacher.

Goals of the sports section:

  • Develop your personality and gain a better understanding of yourself
  • Developing physical and cognitive abilities
  • Know and respect the environment of your practical setting

Admission requirements:

  • Pass the academic review, the interview with the club president, and the sports entrance test.
  • Provide a swimming certificate stating "Able to swim 25 meters and submerge underwater."
  • Provide a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to practicing canoeing and kayaking.

Arrangement of training schedules:

Students receive all the teaching hours required for their level, in line with the official curriculum, the physical education program, and the UNSS (National School Sports Union). The sports section complements the compulsory physical education program. Students train two days a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parents pick up their children at the club (if students leave on their own, a parental authorization form must be completed).
